Plants to Fill a Bathroom With (Inspired by The New Tom's of Maine Natural Strength Deodorant!)
This post is in partnership with Tom’s of Maine. As always, all opinions are our own.
We are this close to having our bedroom suite wrapped up and we’re so excited about it we could literally scream. Since we moved into our home back in July, we’ve been dreaming of the day we’d have our bedroom suite done, but it’s always been so out of reach until now!
For the past six months, we’ve been using our guest bathroom as our main bathroom, and we’ve learned that we’re not allowed to share a single console sink ever again. Our most recent apartment we lived in for two years had two sinks in the bathroom, and we apparently fully forgot how to be civilized humans who share a sink. Luckily, instead of having to “learn” and “grow,” we’ll just get to go back to having our own sinks once the new bedroom suite bathroom is done this week!
For now, we’ve taken to making our tiny guest bathroom feel full of life by filling it with as many plants as we could pack in. It’s got a very wild au natural vibe going on, which perfectly complements all of the natural products we’ve got stocked from Tom’s of Maine. As members of the Tom’s of Maine Goodness Circle, we’ve been getting to try out all of their new products over the last two years, and this month we got to try the new Men’s Natural Strength Plastic-Free Deodorant!
Tom’s of Maine is committed to sustainability, and the new packaging is a sturdy easy-to-use tube that’s completely free of plastic. Which is, like, incredible. We go through deodorant pretty quickly (we do a lot of hard work around the house and we like smelling fresh, ok!!) so not having to dispose of a piece of plastic so often is a huge plus. And the scents are great! We’ve got the Cedar Peak and Rugged Coast, and they both smell so earthy and natural and fresh, reflecting the plant-filled surroundings of our guest bathroom! You can grab them yourself right here :)
Here’s a list of the green friends we’ve got going on in this space: Variegated Pothos, Monstera Adansonii, Bamboo Palm, Monstera Deliciosia, Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma, and Rabbit Foot Fern. They’re all plants that thrive indoors with bright indirect light, and they seem to really love the heat and humidity of the bathroom. They probably love that we’re keeping things free of harsh chemicals, too!
Hopefully next time you hear from us on here, the bedroom suite will be done and we can start filling it with plants and more Tom’s of Maine products!!
Xoxo
